Fresh Look in Broughton – A Painting Job That Grew on Me

Last week, I had the pleasure of returning to Broughton for a repeat customer – always a great sign when clients come back for more work. This time, the task was a full interior refresh with a fresh coat of paint throughout one of their key living spaces.

I’ll be honest – when I first saw the colour choice, I had some reservations. It was a bold tone, and I wasn’t sure how it would look once applied. But after the first coat dried, it really started to grow on me. By the end of the third day, I can honestly say I’m a fan. The colour now complements the space beautifully and adds a fresh, modern feel.

The job began with some essential wall repairs to ensure a smooth and even finish. As with any painting job, preparation is key. Once the repairs were done, I started by cutting in the edges and re-painting the ceiling first – always the best way to go to avoid any mess on freshly painted walls.

After the ceiling was complete, I moved on to the walls, followed by glossing the skirting boards and door. It was a detailed process, but the end result was well worth the time and effort.

Now, I’ll be the first to say – I’m no professional painter and decorator, and I don’t claim to be. However, I always aim to approach every job with the same care, attention to detail, and pride in the finished result. This project was no exception, and I’m proud of how it turned out.

Thanks again to my customer in Broughton for trusting me with another job. It’s always a pleasure to work with great clients who value quality workmanship.

If you’re looking for reliable, honest work with a finish you can be proud of – whether it’s painting, repairs, or general maintenance – get in touch. I’m always happy to help.
